Following his Diploma in Architecture from Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA) in Beirut in 1985, Fouad engaged in both practice and academia. From 1995 to 2002 he taught a Design Studio at ALBA. In 2002, he led a Final Year Design Studio at Lebanese American University (LAU). Fouad has also produced several publications. He co-founded Dagher Hanna & Partners in 1994, where he has since jointly led its successes.  In 2000, Fouad was awarded first prize for his "Trophy Design" for the Order of Engineers and Architects of Beirut.
